About the event
Excavations will be conducted at America’s Stonehenge on Saturday, July 18th. This work will be taking place near the Main Site, allowing visitors a unique opportunity to view an active archaeological site while it is being excavated. The museum’s manager and lead archaeologist will be available on-site to answer questions about the work that will be going on.
Visiting the archaeological site is included with general admission to the museum.
Excavation may be canceled or delayed for inclement weather.
