Seasonal Staff - Summer

Perfect for high school or college students looking for a unique experience over summer break. Seasonal staff will primarily be responsible for operating the Visitor Center desk and/or participating in outdoor maintenance. Opportunities will be available to participate in seasonal events and historical/archaeological research if interested.

Preferred Season: May-September (accommodations can be made for class schedules)

​

Schedule: At least one weekend day per week, and at least three days per week

​

Requirements:

  • The ability to speak with guests and answer questions about the site

  • The capacity to learn to use point-of-sale equipment

  • The ability to lift and carry 20+ pounds

  • The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

  • The ability to use, or learn to use, hand and power tools

 

Qualifications:

  • Prior work experience preferred, but not required

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Point-of-sale and customer service experience

  • Outdoor maintenance (raking, trimming, mowing, etc.)
