What's on the tour?

Although this tour will feature the site, we like to say the VIP experience is all about you! You pick the topic, you ask the questions, and you discover the answers! You aren’t signing up for a lecture. Rather, you are encouraged to have a dialogue with your personal guide, asking as many questions about the site as you wish. On the tour, you won’t just be given an answer to a question either; you will be invited to explore the ruins, chambers, monoliths, or features that will reveal the truth of this historic wonder.

Meet your Tour Guide

James Lacefield

"Growing up in New England, I have always had a deep appreciation for local history. I have worked at America's Stonehenge since 2018, where I started as a seasonal employee during the summers in high school and college. After graduating magna cum laude from Saint Anselm College, I began to work at the museum full time while pursuing a graduate degree in Public History from Southern New Hampshire University. In my time at America's Stonehenge, I have had the privilege of learning from Dennis Stone and many other researchers from the site. I am also a member of the New Hampshire Archeological Society, the American Historical Association, the American Alliance of Museums, and a volunteer with the New Hampshire State Conservation and Rescue Archaeology Program."
