Archaeology Field Day

Make real discoveries at America's Stonehenge during an Archaeology Field Day! Join the excavation being led by the museum's manager and lead archaeologist, where we will be unearthing sections of the site which have not been seen for thousands of years. While we cannot promise that we will find any artifacts, we can guarantee that you will have a fun and educational experience learning the methods of archaeology, the science behind them, and its important role at sites like this. That being said, we have identified an unexcavated section of the site which is likely to contain a stone-lined fire pit and may contain other artifacts!

Participation in the excavation is open to the public, regardless of previous archaeological experience. This is meant to be a learning opportunity! Attendance is limited to 10 participants to ensure everyone can be involved in the process.
