What is it?
Built by a Native American Culture or a migrant European population? No one knows for sure. A maze of man-made chambers, walls and ceremonial meeting places, America's Stonehenge is most likely the oldest man-made construction in the United States (over 4000 years old).

Ancient Observatory
Like Stonehenge in England, America's Stonehenge was built by ancient people well versed in astronomy and stone construction. It has been determined that the site is an accurate astronomical calendar. It was, and still can be, used to determine specific solar and lunar events of the year.

Nature Trail
As you walk along our nature trail you will begin your journey back in time. The recreation of structures here are representative of those found in the Northeast until European settlement. The remains of an actual cooking rack and 30 foot wigwam dating back 2000 years have been discovered in the vicinity of the Visitors Center

Alpacas
Our friendly alpacas are here year round for your enjoyment. We now have five boys (Eddie, Trooper, Kordell, Rocky and Jack) and two girls (Ashley & Brandy). Baby Cracker Jack (CJ for short) was born on 7/1/05. Her and mom are doing very well (pictured at right).
